“Be good to your skin. You’ll wear it every day for the rest of your life.” – Renée Rouleau

Hey lovelies, I hope you’re all doing great! This post is a little different to the usual ones but it’s a big part of me and my life so I thought I’d share it with you! … As a lover of all things natural I thought it was only appropriate to highlight and share with you my favourite natural skincare products right now, the benefits of them as I have experienced. If you are a lover of natural skincare then I hope you enjoy this post and it introduces you to some new fabulous products that I can’t get enough of! – and hopefully you won’t either! Alternatively, if you are new to the idea of using natural skincare products and want to find out more and see if they are for you…then this post is for you too!

I have been using Natural skincare products since my late teens and my love for them just continues to grow by the day! When it comes to natural skincare products and from my personal experience the results speak for themselves, but it also FEELS good! That feeling when you know you aren’t putting any harsh chemicals or nasties onto your skin is just second to none. I truly believe that the universe blessed us with everything we could ever need and that totally applies to taking care of your skin, through the use of natural ingredients which we already have available to us! It also helps to note that in terms of our minds and our mentality, when you know that you are using good, natural and high quality ingredients, it instantly makes you feel good about the products and the results which I can say from experience have always been good – It’s Law of attraction…if you feel good about something and know it will work, then it will!

So here is a list of my favourite natural skincare products …for now! (All  opinions are my own personal opinions and experiences of using these products, they may be different for other people!)

  • COCONUT OIL (Raw, Organic Virgin Coconut oil)

Coconut oil is SUPER popular and has SO many benefits not only on the outside of our bodies but on the insides too! It is naturally an antibacterial and anti-fungal, so makes an AMAZING cleanser and moisturiser! My skin feels so hydrated and soft after using it and even though my skin is sometimes oily it doesn’t make my skin go crazy, which is great! It’s also an awesome cleanser and because it has those antibacterial qualities it keeps your skin clean and has been proven to help with some skin conditions such as dermatitis, which I have found out for myself a while ago. It’s a fantastic leave-in conditioner for your hair! Seriously if you haven’t ever tried this, you should! (You have to wash it out a couple times after with shampoo) it feels so so soft and my hair looked so sleek…and my hair can let a little wild and frizzy at times, so that was awesome! Alternatively you can apply it to the ends of your hair which keeps your hair looking healthy, frizz free and sleek! Other benefits include using coconut oil for shaving! (Yes, it works! And your body is left feeling super soft, nourished and hydrated). Another great use of coconut oil is a makeup remover! It really does work but make sure you are careful around your eyes, if you do get it in your eyes sometimes it can leave a film over your eyes so make sure to wash it off with water! Last but not least on my list of uses for coconut oil is as a hand moisturiser and lip balm as it’s great for dry cracked skin. <3 – Ok so my babbling on about my love for coconut oil is over haha!

One of my absolute favourite skincare brands is “Tropic Skincare” – I have been using their products for years and am still obsessed….and the great thing about them is that they get better and better. I have tried a lot of Tropic skincare products including their makeup collection too – which is also fab! What I love most behind this brand is their ethics and the quality of these naturally derived and vegan products. I have recently ordered a bundle of their products to replace ones I have used and new ones to try because I know they are going to be great and exceed my expectations! My favourites at the moment are the incredible (and non greasy) pure lagoon serum, the elixir, the cleanser – (which also comes with a super soft bamboo flannel which is just heaven on the skin) and body smooth. So all of these amazing products (to name only a few!) have literally been my holy grail and I can’t tell you how good it feels to know that my skin is absorbing and drinking in high quality, natural ingredients!

These next products I am going to mention, I have only been using for under a month as they were birthday presents from the beautiful Kirsty (Thank you!)

  • CRYSTAL FACIAL ROLLER (Rose Quartz & Jade)

First is the Rose quartz/ Jade facial roller which is actual heaven on my skin…. It feels super cool when it comes into contact with the skin which is actually so refreshing…not only that but also the roller itself is almost all crystal and crystals are all charged with energy and they just feel so amazing to use on the skin! I have noticed that my skin has been a lot brighter since using the roller which is great because who doesn’t want to have a brighter, more energised face! I am definitely looking forward to continuing using this beauty of a roller!

Last but not least – and hopefully you’re all still with me! – is another birthday gift from Kirsty which is the “Natura Siberica northern soap for deep facial cleansing” – another holy grail for my skin! Everything about this product from the packaging, the applicator sponge and the natural, clay/ mud – esque look and texture of the cleansing soap itself which has activated charcoal as a main ingredient among other beautiful natural ingredients. It’s safe to say that these are my absolute favourite natural skincare products at the moment and I thought I would share them with you because they are just too good to miss out on!

If you have made it to the end of this post then I congratulate and thank you! Thank you so much for giving me some of your time and I hope that this post has helped you in some way! Lots of love as always,

Selina ❤️
